[SOLVED] Connection Two Hard Drives Together

Connection Two Hard Drives Together

Hello,
I was wondering whether it was possible to connect to hard drives together to make it sort of like an msn sharing folder.

Or better still; turn my old computer into a storage devise similar to a USB pen drive.

Is any of that possible?
__________

One last question, how do I connect to different screens together so I can use them as one dislplay?
__________

Thanks for reading ^_^

Re: Connection Two Hard Drives Together

There are several options available .
1. Network the two systems.
2. If you are not planing on using th old system you can remove the drive and install it in an external enclosure and use it as a USB drive.
3. You can install the old drive in the new system for additional storage.

Re: Connection Two Hard Drives Together

Sorry it took so long to get back.
To connect the two systems through a network you will need a router and two NIC (network interface cards)If your system does not have nic,s built in.
Purchase an external enclosure http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817366004
