Running out SPACE!!![MOVED FROM WINDOWS]

I just got a bunch of my music and other files on a external hard drive. There is about 50-60 gb of stuff. On it but when i go and transfer it to my new laptop. It says i have used 103 gb. Before i transfered the laptop only used like 10-20 gb i think i cant remember. Is there a problem? is there anything i could delete so i can have more space because i am running out of space.

Hi there whats the capacity of your laptop HD and your External drive.

How is the external drive formatted - NTFS or FAT32?

my hard drive capacity is 110gb my external is 300 gb. and i think my external drive is a NTFS but im not sure how do u find that out?
