Easy dumb question from newbie....

Thanks -

I've been trying to work with video using "Pinnacle" on my desktop. It has been short of hard disk space (70 gb HD and just 8 gb free) - so I bought an external (USB connect seagate HD - 500 gb).... Can I "install my pinnacle software on the external and "run" the whole thing from there?.... Does that work? Am I missing anything?... Thanks in advance!

Chuck

Welcome to TSF.

Keep the Pinnacle installation on the Windows drive - but tell the program to use the 500GB drive as "workspace".
