OS: XP

boot loader error?

I'm not a expert I have to admit. I was having big problems with my vista install, so I decided to have xp back on.

I frormatted vista ffrom disc of course seem to all go well, installed all drivers almost had to reboot, and I see the screen "which os would ouy like t boot up" to choose do blah blah./..

"windows vista"

"windows dialogstic test" (bad spelling)

yes no XP. and god knows whow vista is still there, is this a boot loader error? why did this happen (what did I do wrong)? and is there anyway to change it without another format.

Also don't think it matters but i obviously reformatted over C (deleteing the partition and createing a new one for XP) but I didn't format my other drive that i formatted in vista (obviously differant drive). shoudn't matter had I didn't do a vista install on it. obviously they are both same file system

Hopefully you can help..

thanks,
Johay
