Low Disk Drive amongst other problems - HELP!
I have a very important hard drive and it's low on disk space. I've deleted all the un-necessary documents to free up disk space. I have used disk clean up, disk defragment, downloaded registryfix and auslogics to clean it up (better).
I also installed McAfee antivirus/antispam/firewall and scanned the computer and fixed the problems. The computer is a lot faster now but when I go to disk defragment, it shows that I only have 3% space available and disk defragment fails. It shows a lot of red space, barely any blue or white. I can't fix this problem and need help with it. I need advice! The thing is, the computer had caught a virus and after scanning using an antivirus/antispyware, showed that it had trojans, and the computer was having start up problems which the softwares I downloaded and ran claimed to have fixed. The main error showing up is: C:\WINDOWS\system32\tools\delfolders.exe and C:\WINDOWS\system32\kcyfuhuh.dll My emailing addresses also do not send but can recieve. My ISP has said it was because of spam discovered in the computer with all the problems. I have been delisted once and I am blocked again by spamcop. I feel like I have done everything I could but the computer still shows there is insufficient disk space. I have recommended to my boss that we should just take the major program we use and transfer that to another computer because the hard drive it's on is only a 74GB HD. At this point, I feel like a blond. HELP! |
