OS: windows 2000 service pack4

Computer won't recognize drive
I am running Windows 2000, service pack 4 and just realized that my back-ups have not been running. The computer no longer recognizes the drive that I use to back up my file server. I have limited computer knowledge and am wondering how to get the computer to recongize the drive again.

Hi, welcome to TSF.
 How is the drive connected to the computer? External or internal? With the computer shut down - take the cables (data and power) out, then put them back. Also - try a new data cable. |
