Computer won't recognize drive
I am running Windows 2000, service pack 4 and just realized that my back-ups have not been running. The computer no longer recognizes the drive that I use to back up my file server. I have limited computer knowledge and am wondering how to get the computer to recongize the drive again.

Re: Computer won't recognize drive
Hi, welcome to TSF.
![]() How is the drive connected to the computer? External or internal? With the computer shut down - take the cables (data and power) out, then put them back. Also - try a new data cable. |
