What 2 do now
I have added and reformatted (NTSF) my original Hardrive as a second and now I would like to use itfor storage and maybe some very large games .Do I have to sync the two drives? what is my next move or am I done and can I run programs from it as is just by installing them on that drive.

So then, you probably have your primary (C:) drive and then your second drive (say its D:). You should be able to use now that Second drive for data if you have already added the partition and formatted it.
