external sea gate usb drive won't power up.
My external drive won't power up and I know the cord is good as it works on an identical drive on another computer. Green light did blink a few times but now nothing. any suggestions?

Hi MrRBT, it sounds like the external enclosure controller has gone bad. Hopefully it is still under warranty, if it is, set up an exchange or RMA, if not take the drive out of the enclosure and test it as a storage drive. If the drive checks out good, you can always buy a new external enclosure for about $30. Mike
