dynamic vs basic
Good day.I recently installed WDC WD3200AAJS-65VWA0 (320GB) on my computer which has already WDC WD5000AAKS-00YGA0 (500GB). The new HDD shown on winxp pro sp2 disk management as Dynamic on Disk 0, The other one (old one where OS is installed) is shown basic on Disk 1. My question is anything wrong here ?. Before starting to store data I just want to be sure nothing wrong. Please help. Thanks.

Re: dynamic vs basic
Hi sinan, before you write data to the drive I would repartition the drive as a basic disc, it is just simpler to do it right now. You probably would not have any issues with a Dynamic disc, but since the OS is on a basic disc do both that way. Mike
Basic or Dynamic
