Question about Raptor Drives
Alright I'm planning to do a small upgrade that consists of 2 Raptor (or 10k rpm) hard drives, and put into a RAID. The RAID setup will be used to install my games on.
This might be a noob question, but since its only for gaming, should i buy smaller hard drives, or doesnt the size affect? Just seems comparing the price between 36 gigs and 70 to 120's it would be more worthwhile getting a larger amount. So stick with two small hard drives, or get 2 120 gig's, or really doesnt matter? |

Re: Question about Raptor Drives
You want to know a secret? Any 7200.10 drive will perform about just as fast. The 10kness is a marketing gimmick. And to answer your question, it's up to you. Depends on how much you want to install. And how much you're willing to pay.
