Transfering Specific Files and Folders

I bought a new 500GB hard drive for my computer yesterday. Today I decided to set it up, It installed nicely and I made it into a partition using the software which came with. I set up the new HD as my slave drive. Now I want to transfer all my games from the old drive to the new one, I know I can't simply copy because that would screw up the registry and just create one big mess. My dad owns Norton Ghost so I installed that program because I was told it can do the transfers I need. However the program only has an option to transfer entire partitions, I can't simply select my "Games" folder and move it.

Is there any way for me to be able to select particular programs, files and folders, or am I going to have to figure out some sleek way to get around the partition system?

Re: Transfering Specific Files and Folders

Sorry, the only way not to mess the reg up is to uninstall and reinstall everything to the partition. Norton ghost still I think would mess the reg up if it just moves the files.

For programs and files that you dont need to be ever be installed then you can just move them like you would normally move any other file.
