Re: seagate barracude problem

Ok guys I went back to the place where I bought the hd and they tested it and said that its dead. They offered me either another seagate which would take 2weeks to get here, or I could have a Western Digital now since its in stock.

So i have the new drive here and im wondering if I should install it, or if I should buy a bigger psu and then install it. What should I do?

Re: seagate barracude problem

Best to do is to go to the memory and PSU section here and list exactly what is in your computer and tell them what they think of your current PSU and if you need or should get a new PSU.

Also to save time with listing what is in your computer you can set up the My Computer list (like i have to the left) by going to User CP -> Edit Options and there will be a list of things to fill out.
