So before you ask.... the computer is a Dell Dimension 9100. Yes, I already made the floppy that you can obtain here: http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/.....
You know, the one you need to install the drivers to it will read a SATA drive.... now here is the question.... It gives me 4 options to use: "Intel (R) 82801GR/GH SATA RAID Controller (Desktop ICH7R/DH) Intel (R) 82801GR/GH SATA AHCI Controller (Desktop ICH7R/DH) Intel (R) 82801FR SATA RAID Controller (Desktop ICH6R) Intel (R) 82801FR SATA AHCI Controller (Desktop ICH6R)" Which friggin one do I use???? ![]() |

Re: SATA + F6 = *death*
it will be one of the first 2
Intel (R) 82801GR/GH SATA RAID Controller (Desktop ICH7R/DH) Intel (R) 82801GR/GH SATA AHCI Controller (Desktop ICH7R/DH) i would expect it to be the top one have you set the sata to run as ide in the bios when you receive an error message post it in full
