I have a 20 gb hard drive (primary) 11% free space, and 80 gb hard drive (slave) 60% free space. I wanted to copy all files from primaryhard drive to slave drive, and make slave drive my primary drive. Until I purchase another hard drive. Can this be done. I'm running windows 98 se with xp pro sp2 upgrade. |

Re: How change hard drive without losing files
Yes, this can be done, u need to get a HD Cloner or make ghost it (same thing) Here is a bit of free software for doing this http://www.miray.de/products/sat.hdclone.html Just chose the one that u have the files on and set it as the source, get the other one on traget and u should be good.
