I am planning to buy a 500gb Hard Drive for my PC.
But I need to know whether Internal IDE or External USB/Firewirer is better? Comparingly Is Internal IDE Drive faster in terms of speed compared to External 3.5" Western Digital Drive My Book Home edition ? Does it make a huge difference in terms of mb/sec between both. They are almost the same price but im looking for a faster one which will also last long no matter if it isnt portable. Pls Suggest. Last edited by bradleyp; 01-06-2008 at 09:00 AM. Re: 500gb Internal or External Hard Drive Info Needed
I bought the External 3.5 " 500 GB MY book Western Digital and I'm pretty happy with it. It's supper fast. I have 3 external harddrives and it's by far the fastest. It's loads in just one second whereas my others sometimes takes 30 seconds.
