Split Harddrive

So I have a 40 GB harddrive and my brother split it back when he used this computer. Half the hard drive is used for windows and i have very little room left in the hard drive. The other half is barely used (12.3 GB free space out of 14.6)

How do I unsplit it and not break my computer in the process. The only things I see in the free half of the drive is the NVIDIA drivers, Doc, window(nothing really in it), Quarantine,MSOCache, and msdownld.tmp

C drive is the Half with more space
D is the one thats pretty much full
