Data retrieval from RAID 0 onto new RAID 1
My cpu failed. In the end I have renewed everything. Had XP media center with raid 0 on two 250Gb HDDs, (I think RAID was supported with a floppy) new mobo has inbuilt RAID support (Asustek Crosshair) with 6 internal SATA connectors and two external. Having tried to use an OEM version of XP media I have now ordered a retail version of Vista home. my new Seagate Barracuda 500GB HDDs are set, (or I want to set them) to RAID 1.
Can I copy all my precious data from the old RAID 0 array to my new set up? And how, please? Hopefully Roy |
