hi i have a 80gb harddrive installed on my computer but i have recently gt a new 160gb sata off a friend, ive put it into the comp and connected the wires up (the same as they are connected on the 80gb) but when i start up my computer on go into explorer it doesnt show that there is another h/d connected, also if i go into disc management there is no evidense of a new h/d being there, is there a reason, is there something ive misssed or simply can i just not hav 2 hard drvies? thanks

I assume it's a Dell Dimension 5150.
Enter BIOS by tapping the F2 key when the computer starts. A screen looking something like this will appear. Can you see both hard drives there? Please have a look at this: http://support.euro.dell.com/support....htm#wp1366406 |
