Where is my storage going?

I have a little 40 gb eMachine that I use. the problem is that after I deleted everything I didnt need I still only had 16gb free space... I have looked through every folder to find a big one or something and so far I have about 15 GB that shouldnt be taken. I cleaned up all the files I can and still the storage is taken. If you think U know my problem, please tell me.

did you empty your recycle bin? if not, give it a try. Files in your recycle bin will still take up space.

Hi,

What size is your SWAP file set to.

Have you emptied the Recycle Bin, then defragmented.

maybe its because I have never defragmented it before.
I appreciate the effort but yes I HAVE emptied the recycle bin......XD
