hard drives combine and my documents disapeer

I bought a second larger hard drive, and after some time I decided to copy all of the information on the original onto the newer hard drive. It all went well until I realized that instead of having both my document folders I ony had one and the other's information wasn't there. So far I've tried to locate it with little luck. I know how I would have found it if one was a slave drive and the other a primary, but with both on the same drive I have no idea how to make the missing one appear. Any help would be welcome.

Re: hard drives combine and my documents disapeer

Try getting hold of a bootable WinPE disk - such as here: http://www.ubcd4win.com/ and burn it onto a CD. This should enable you to locate and copy the My Documents folder from whichever disk has the proper files, and then paste them to a *new* folder on the second hard drive.
