[SOLVED] Can I have two Master Drives?
I am installing another HD in my PC.
Is it necessary to designate one a slave and one a master and is there an advantage to either set up? I am running XP SP2, AMD 64+, 1. 5 gig RAM. I have two IDE outputs on my mother board but one is used for the DVD drive. Any quick help would be appreciated. |

Re: Can I have two Master Drives?
You need to make one the master and one the slave. Put the master on the end of the ribbon cable. Don't forget to set the jumpers for each.
