My Seagate 250 GB SATA Problem
My Seagate 250 GB SATA is very slow in access. I bought it about 5 months. I didn't use cooling fan. after using 4 months, it cause problem very slow in access.
How can i slove this? Please Help me as soon as possible.

Go to Start > (Settings) > Control Panel > Administrative tools > Computer Management > Device manager > IDE/ATAPI controllers > SATA Controller > Right click > Properties > Advanced settings tab
Make sure the device is set to use either UDMA, or SATA or SATA2 speed. It cannot be set to PIO since that will make the drive slow.
