Question How to extend system partition?

I am using a partitioned hard disk (partitions C, D, E) on a WindowsXP Pro system. C is the system partition and running out of space now (only 200 Mb left!). E, on the other hand, is almost empty. So I'd like to hand over some of the unused space on E to my system partition C, without loosing any data on C.
However, the windows disk management tool tells me that it cannot extend the current system partition. How to proceed?

Re: How to extend system partition?

So I downloaded partitionlogic and a Iso image burning tool. I installed both, I burned a disc and I booted from disk. Partitionlogic launched, and asked me to wait for a while, detecting hardware. IDE bus. And then nothing happened until I stopped it more than an hour later. Any ideas?

Re: How to extend system partition?

I do not use partition magic now, as it has not been upgraded for a long time. now I use partition master, very easy to use, just drag and move, the most important it is free
