need a partition program

hello guys / gals

i am in need of a free partition program

i have one on cd but my brother has my cd's and i will not have access to them for 2 more weeks

and i have a pc that i need to set up and i need to partition the drive

dose any one know of one that i can get for short term use ??

have a look at partition logic, it should get you out of trouble

you save my butt for now i can finish this pc tomarrow

the lady that owns it is disabled and it is here contact to the out side world

hello there

i have tried both of the programs that was suggested !!!

neither of them will load ???

i have fallowed the instructions to the letter useing Nero 6

i have set the boot order to load the rom 1st

gparted won't do a thing

partition logic gets to the dos then won't proceed any further

am i missing something ??

never used either program befor

what am i doing wrong

wished i had my cd's !!!

any help please ??

Partition logic works from within windows, so you can just load windows in as usual then install partition logic and make your partitions as you please, you do not have to do it pre windows

the version that i got and put to disk wont load ???

i must of got the wrong version

it was the latest version that needed to be put to a cd-r or dvd, i did the cd-r so that i would have it also

should i put it on dvd ??

i will try again with the cd-r that i burned

i realy dont know what i am doing wrong but i guess i need some thing to get my head out of my %$#@

i still can not get this to work have tried all ways to get partition logic to work

now none of my programs will open it and the cd won't load

i say again that i fallowed the steps at the sit and they won't work to install or burn this program so i can use it !!!

i guess i will just set the pc up then when i get my cd's back i will just do the partition process later

just wanted to put the my documents on a differnt partition
