Applause

I just wanna say, I have had this new Optiplex GX620 for I think 10 days-2 weeks. Sumthin. When I first read about it way back, since I luv the Optis and would own nothing else desktop-wise, I liked all of it including new, cutting edge thermal design/engineering in the large, "mini tower.' configuration. Fan is in whole new place and it is newly engineerd like no other desktop.

Fan goes on and off via some sensor thingy and is variable speed. Kinda like some laptops; Heatskink in whole new place.

And I just looked.....system has been on and not idle 4 many hours and my HDD is running at 35C. I luv this.

Just makes me happy....except for butt-ugly case, this computer is everything I expected and more. I could always detail it. the case.

Thank U neo Michael Dell person(s) whoever U R; U designed a betta mousetrap.

Better than a custom-built monster machine that barely makes a sound louder than a mouse's whisper? Madness!

Re: Applause

Both my Optiplexes=DEAD silent. Optiplexs R that and famously. Even when U get down on the floor and put yr ear to the towers.....U can't hear diddly, forget Diddy.....or the mice themsleves. Breathing.

Information based, heady exchanges between & among open seekers= opposite of petulance-based polemics. I don do the latter.....not moved in that direction.

In this APPLAUSE/adulation, I celebrate the architects, the thermal engineers----the chassis is even lead free, unlike most......and, when I detail the tower with silver laquer with metalic flakes---no flames, sumthin original....it will be less butt-ugly.

And for wut I gave in dead Presidents 4 this so carefully chosen puppy.....OMG, I am in heaven.
