Re: error code

It sound like one of four things. The BIOS does not reconize the harddrive and or is not set to boot from the harddrive. The Harddrive does not have an OS on it. Or the harddrive may need to be reseated. It is possible the harddrive may be damaged. Was this thinkpad working before you got it.
Thanks,
Bill

Re: error code

Hi Katie,
The BIOS is the way the Motherboard is configured. To get in the BIOS you usually have to press DEL, ESC, or F1 key as the computer is first turned on. If you can give me more specs about your IBM Thinkpad 600 such as serial # or Product # that would be helpful. I may find an owners manual for you. You say it was not working when you got it? It sounds to me the Harddrive is either misconfigured, has no OS or is bad.
Thanks,
Bill
