Mistake Reocovered but not workin images, help please.

gday, recently my harddrive had a tizzy and tryed to format itself. i had to take it to my local computer shop and they recovered half of my stuff. there was a large file of images and a few mpegs and i got it all back, however, about 70% of the pictures arent showing. they are there and theyre properties say they are however big they are and that they will open whatever program, but there is no preview and they any program i try open them with says thay cant be read, which they ussualt would. also there is no summary in the properties, unlike the pictures that are showing up.

please help, seltimental value is at risk.

cheers

Hey,

Your best option is to take it back to whoever tried recovering it and ask them, well, why it isn't recovered. They should of set all appropriate file settings and done the appropriate procedures in order for you to directly access the files.
