Can I RESUME 'Recover my files' program if theres a power cut etc??

Is it possible to resume the program 'recover my files' if there is a power cut or my Pc decides to shut itself down etc ????

I am running a full format search and trying to recover alot of files which were accidently formatted (I think!?!?!) and it can take up to 6 days apparently (its a 160 GB hard drive)......I don't want to get so far and have to keep on starting it over and over , so if there is a resume option could somebody please let me know ????

Thanks

I dont think you can resume a recovery. Once the recovery started. And a Power failer or etc. that makes the computer shut down. You have to start over. If you just go on and not redo it. The Computer might say some files are missing.
