Hello,
I am new to this forum. I have a 60 GB excelstor hardrive that I used as an external one with the help of a USD 2.0 to IDE adapter. My operating system is Windows XP and my computer is a laptop IBM Thinkpad. The hardrive was working well until I plugged back the removable CD drive. Now, this hardrive appears in disk management as an unallocated one and there is no letter assigned to it in my computer. How can I reassigned a letter to it without losing the datas I have saved on this hardrive? I have tried to plug it to other computer but it is also not recognized. Thanks |

Re: Hardrive not recognize by my computer
In disk management, import foreign disk?
You might have to google that one, just last night i installed a hard drive that wouldn't recognise. I remember reading something about that option. |
