Hard Drive wont read DVD+R
Hi. I put some files onto a DVD+R and then I put the disc into another computer and the hard drive is not reading the disk. It opens up as empty but the files are there somewhere. Can anyone please give me some suggestions as to how to access these files? Thank you

Re: Hard Drive wont read DVD+R
A computer is a computer, a hard drive or HDD or hard disk is this, thus a part of a computer, and there is no way a hard drive can read DVD's. A DVD drive reads DVD's, or, per metonymy, a computer does.
Are you sure the other computer has got a DVD reader ? Are both computers (the one you burned your DVD on, and the one you're trying to read it with) running Windows XP ? Do the files show on the DVD when you read it with the first computer ? |
