Jumper shunts? I put it in a external enclosure and brought it to my friends computer.

look at the upper screen above where you wrote "thats it"


see the two partitions that have no drive letter and the partition stucture is labeled unknown ????

windows is saying its confused

thats why you cant access it

those partitions are not deleted


you need to try using a program like partition table doctor to fix or delete those partitions

then reformat the drive from within disk management

Well, its a basic disk, thats known. There seems to be only one hardrive in disk managment now, its unkown cause its external. I might give up on this harddrive, use it as a slave drive or get another to treat as slave drive.

Well, its label C now. I just windows xp on it and linux. I've been posting with many forums. Everythings working fine except the size, I think I'm gonna let this one go and just get a new HDD thanks for everything.
