Re: Formatting my pavillion

I would try making a new bootable Win 2000 Disk and you might as well add Service pack 4 to it ??????

Re: Formatting my pavillion

Dang it. Sorry to start out this way but I just typed a whole response and had a page error thing and have to type it all over. Any way that sounds great about the CD but I need to use a different computer that can write CDs (No problem just have to wait like 2 hours) and I will need a different link since something is wrong with that one. It says there is no specified thread.

Check the link and Then "Talk to me"

Add Service Pack 2 to your existing Win CD

Re: Formatting my pavillion

O ok well here's the deal. Its not just that the disk wont boot. It wont even open. I can get into the disk by opening it in my computer. If I open any folder or other item however. It says There is and error and that the drive is not formatted. That seems crazy to me. I've never seen that on anything other than the floppy drive. This is the CD-Rom Im talking about. P.S. the 2000 disk is semi-legit (Not at all) but it worked the first time I used it and installed 2000 on my other computer with no problems at all.
sooooooo *** !?!?

TSF does not support illegal activities, including activities using semi-legit disks. Sorry
