Re: FASTtrak 100 problems

Never used Vista, but this should still be doable : control pannel => system => hardware => device manager. Check your ide controller card is listed there with no warnings messages.

Also, in disk managements (righ-click on "my computer" => manage. No idea if that shortcut works in Vista), do you see your drives ? Maybe you still need to partition and format them, then assign them volume letters ?

ok, then do that other operation I added in my previous message : go to disk management.

(I should lose that bad habit of always editing my messages)

Re: FASTtrak 100 problems

right i finaly managed to do it, heres how it goes. cancell all the vista trying to find driver stuff. go to device manager and update the driver. say you will do it from disk, locate to the server 2003 drivers for the card. restart. is will say something about a driver, do the same thing again. restart. and all should work. only taken me 2 weeks to get it sorted. thx to all here and the whole web for help......

Re: FASTtrak 100 problems

I am happy to hear you got your problem sorted, that was kinda of a long way around the barn, hopefully the controller card manufacturer will include better instructions for device installation in the future.

well done
