My System

Evil what is wrong with my hard disk drive?????!?!?!

is wrong with my hard disk drive??? when i start the computer it loads bios then it says "reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key" and if i restart and then go into bios it says "hard disk drive not detected"" !!!! what is wrong!!!!?!?!?!?!!??!!?!?!!

read the forum rules abbreviations are treated the same as the full words and will receive a warning

if the operating system is loaded check that you can see it listed in the bios,if not check the cable has not come loose
try a new cable
if you are trying to load an operating system on a sata drive you need to load a driver with f6 and set it up in the bios

select your hard drive makers drive diagnostic utility and run it against the drive to evaluate the mechanical fitness of your drive >>>> especailly the extended or full test

try another cable and try discharge the electrical of your motherboard,if didn't work, use software to check the disk's mbr, & check if the disk had bad cluster?
