Well 500gig is quite common now, and I know Terabyte drives exist, but you wont find them in your average places, come to that not even sure you will get one in normal circulation, but I have a vague recollection of seeing the odd 750gig drive around, but at the prices these are running at 500gig is about the best deal around from what I know.

Collecting photos, music, home videos and dvr functions can eat up even a 750Gb hard drive faster than you can blink....just depends on what you use your computer for. Even on my laptop, 100Gb with all the cbt and training vids, photos, powerpoint presentations and such is not a whole lot of space.

IMHO you'd be better served running 4 x 250 gig drives than one bit T drive
with the lower reliability of hard drives these days; losing such a big drive would be grounds for suicide i cant even imagine the time it would take to defrag or back-up that puppy! LOL (you'd have to do that while on vacation! )

If you want the best out there I would get a bunch of smaller hard drives and set up a backup system. Why don't you set up RAID 1 with 4 x 500 GB hard drives, and then they will be fast and your data will be redundant.
