External WD problem invisible files!!!!!
HI there,
I'm running XP on a Dell Inspiron 1501. I've got a 300gb Western Digital external drive that i've been using for a while now with no problems. I use it for storing my music and as a backup for photos and stuff. I've turned it on today but there is one file where most of my music is stored that is showing as empty. I click on the folder but there's nothing in there and there should be nearly 200gb of music files!!!!! If I go to My Computer and click on the drive it shows as having 49.2gb free on the disk which is right but the music is gone and i've searched everywhere on the drive for it. I can't understand it. Can anyone help??? thanks Yelserpdog |
