format too often?
I'm looking to format my PC (again) and if I go ahead with it this will be the second format in 2 years...is this too much? Can you format your hard drive too much?
Any help is appreciated. |

no you dont have to be concerned about over formatting your drives.

Hi,
If you are formatting your hard drive regularly. It may be a better option to install a second hard drive and then clone the working drive to it and then either remove or disconnect it. If you then get problems, simply image the known good copy of your system back to the C: drive. Takes a few minutes and you would be back to the know clean copy of your Operating System. hth Ceri |
