Quick HD Problem.
My current internal 80GB HD is @ 5400rpm
i want to get an external seagate 320gb HD @ 7200rpm. although the 320gb HD is usb2, will it be faster than my internal one? ie. 5400rpm - 7200rpm or is internal always faster? |

dmitryk is right, but think outside the box. If you can fresh install on the new 320gb drive (which i have by the way) and then use the 80 gb as storage (transferring files and setting via xp file and settings transfer wizard), you will get a speed increase. basically, swap them. let me know if you want more info mate, good luck
