Im not very familiar with scuzzy dirves maybe someone can help me out, at start up i get this message:
primary hard disk drive 0 not found <<<ctrl a for scsiSelect Utility!>>> Ch A, SCSI ID #0 -Quantum Atlas IV9 WIS Ultra 2 - LVD BIOS Installed Successfully! Strike the F1 key to continue, F2 to run the setup utility. i checked the cables and everything seems to be in the right place, i've reset bios. I tried to set the hard drive to master buut theres nothing listed on the harddrive about a master or slave setting..

This is just a simple matter of modifing your boot order to reflect the presence of the scsi controller
I am guessing here that you have no IDE drive installed in this system (which is just fine :) but the computer bios is looking for an IDE drive to boot from you simply need to enter your computers bios (not scsi bios) and make the first boot option the scsi controller or scsi drive which ever option your individual bios allows then your bios will know which device you want to boot from; computers always look for IDE drives first; if you dont command it to also look for the scsi controller it will give up trying to boot when the IDE is not found. dumb computers huh ????? edit ***** after changing the bios boot order dont forget to "save & exit" the bios & then reboot
