Can Anyone Recommend a Disk to Disk copy utility?
I wondered if anyone had a recommendation for a utility to make an exact hard drive copy? I'm upgrading from old to new drives, and need something to create a mirror of my bootable C drive onto it's new replacement.
The drive came with Seagate's Diskwizard, but this isn't getting the job done. According to Seagate Tech, their program copies file to file, which is where the problem comes in as they believe I've got a tiny corruption somewhere, even though everything works ok. They suggest I need a sector to sector copier, and suggested Norton Ghost, but I thought I'd ask around too. Any recommendations? Thanks! |
