Slow shutdown
Hi
i have recently noticed that when i go to shutdown my computer it takes forever to shutdown and switch off. Is there anything i can do to speed up this process

greetings
first try cleanup in my sig move pertinent data from your temp folders, as it will clean them out do a scan with ewido, adaware, and panda on line....all available free from cnet download..report back the results then try a defrag are you using norton? post back |

it rewrites system restore before shutting down,there are ways of shortening the process,but if you make it to quick it corrupts your restore points
shutting down should not be a problem,you just click shutdown and walk away and let it do it's thing you will find the instruction on how here on bob cerrelli's site under startup and shutdown http://www.onecomputerguy.com/windowsxp_tips.htm
