Win xp should automatically detect it and you shouldnt need a driver. Are you going to use it on a win98 system ?

driver request

Thank you for the reply. I did find the driver last night and installed on xp but says it is aborted. Thank you for the reply and help.

what happens when you insert the jump drive when the system is running ?

Check your device manager to see if there is a usb device error.
Check your control panel - administrative tools - event viewer to see what kind of error messages are logged.
Are you on a network ?
