lost sound driver
please help my brother has had to reinstall his xp system but seem to have lost his driver for his sound card. He does not know what is the name of his card so we can go and find a driver. Is there anyway to find out which card he has?

Hi Simon, welcome to TSF.
Go to Start > Run and type dxdiag, then click the Sound tab for your sound card details. Or you can use Everest, go to Computer > Summary and scroll down to Multimedia. There will be a link next to Audio Adapter that will take you to a site where you can download the latest driver for your card.
