Help!!! Sony Vaio Problems...

Ok so i have a sony vaio pcv-j120 (originally with ME) I had put winXP on it but got a virus and so i downgraded to win98 (im broke and cant afford a new operating system) Now that 98 is on it doesnt read my sound or video, i believe they are integrated onto the motherboard and i dont have a clue as to the make, model or companies that released them. I looked on the sony site for drivers but they wanted model id #'s and abunch of stuff i dont understand, This is seriously frustrating as i am a producer and need sound in order to make hip-hop beats, not to mention my screen is all super blurry and flashes a lot when im on-line. If anyone has had this problem and knows how to fix it or where i can get drivers for win98 (not SE) that'll work with my vaio it would be much appreciated. Please leave any responses in simple english, i know a bit about computers but i don't "speak geek" as it were (though im not saying that im not a geek haha) Thanks you and peace out!

It appears you probably have the The Intel 82801AA AC'97 Audio Controller. You can download the drivers here or here. Those drivers are extremely elusive on the net. Basically no OEM site other than emachines and the ones i listed still had them. Hope they work
