cant find ethernet hardware
Ok basically, my other comp that a friend gave us was getting a bit buggy, so I decided to reinstall xp on it
Celeron 2.6ghz 256mb ram (it shows up as 190mb i dunno why) Asus p4r800-vm motherboard Windows Xp SP1 The celeron comp is connected with the one I'm using right now with a Dlink 504g router Now after I reformatted, I couldnt connect to internet or go on lan because the computer couldnt find any ethernet hardware I thought it might be the drivers, so I went to device manager, and beside the ethernet controller driver, there was a question mark. I dont have any installation disks, and I cant autoupdate from internet obviously So if anyone has the drivers or knows why im having this problem plz help me And also, it's also got question marks beside multimedia audio controller and SM bus controller so if you know where to get drivers for those it would be great, but the main thing is ethernet right now Thanks Last edited by mr_lemon; 02-06-2006 at 11:18 PM.
