No Sound

I just installed an Asus P5ND2 SLI and I can't get any sound! I'm using built-in speakers on an HPvs19 monitor, plugged into the back panel.

Please help! I tried reinstalling the drivers for the monitor, but that didn't help.

Have you check the device manager in your control panel?
Check and see if there are any yellow "?" there if there are disable the item (normaly called a PCI device)
reboot and let windows reinstall the hardware when it asks for drivers have it look on your motherboard disk.
I am assuming you are using the on-board sound. Check to make sure it is enabled in the bios under intigrated devices.
If you are using an installed card you will want to make sure the on-board is disabled.
