[SOLVED] 2 important drivers not there

Hey all, i read the sticky, but that was WAYYY to complicated for me i did not understand all the numbers so ill just make a post.

Recently my computer has not been working so i reformatted, but all my drivers are gone!! my audio and video driver are missing..i tried to reinstall them, but windows couldnt find it. i dont have the CD's either. so what can i do? my direct X wont work because i cant use Direct3D
i have a windows XP SP3

Audio controller is your sound system and VGA controller is the video card. Is this a prebuilt or custom PC?

my friend brought it for me, but i dont have contact with him right now =(

it is custom i believe, or maybe prebuilt, he brought the whole computer in one box.

Hi,
Go to the Device Manager
Right click on the error>Properties>Details Tab
Post the info you find under Device Instance ID

Do this for each error you have

lol weirdest thing.. as i was waiting for your guy's replies i googled what eback said, i downloaded some "drivers" and it worked :D

i think this is solved, i have to test the video driver thouhg

sorry for the double post, i dont know how to edit
i cnat test the video driver right now because my GunZ game keeps freezing up =(

Can you give me the info I requested?
You may have installed a incorrect driver.

Seeing you are not sure what is in your System an Everst report (a link under my signature) may help me "see what you have.
Copy and paste the FULL report to notepad and attach it to the thread using the Go Advance option.

hi sorry for the late response, i guess i got exited haha

btw, the games seem a little laggy than usual.. im seeing choppy gameplay in the most basic game.!
ok i hope i posted what you wanted, there was no "error" options in the device manager so i toook a everest report( it was huge so i took what i thought you might need)

And then this Video Driver:

The Audio driver can be found here:

Seeing this is not the full report, I can not determine the drivers you installed.
The above drivers are direct from VIA.

Yes you should in both Add/Remove programs and in the Device Manager.

nooo gunz wont finish loading the game =( it freezes up.

but it can run counter strike

Is there any errors left in the Device manager?
Is the OS fully updated (Microsoft Updates and Direct X9)?

Do your other games play well?

Do other ON-line games play well?

Is this Gunz game installed or something that is played on the internet
(I did find the specs of the game and your computer should run it without issues)

Sorry I am not a big gamer so my knowledge is limited.

nope, there are no errors in the device manager and everything is up to date.
its probably just the game.
