[SOLVED] nvidia geforce driver??

I am running Windows 7 64-bit mode on my acer aspire laptop. I cannot install ANY Nvidia driver for the 7000M video card. It is setup as an 8-bit nvidia vga driver only. There are many accessories I cannot use because I do not have the advanced settings(direct draw 9.0 etc.) on the card that it is capable of doing. Can anyone help me? 32 bit drivers do not work. Thanks for any replies. I am very new to computers so please explain clearly. Cheryl
