lol stuck can anyone help me out here
ok here is the deal working on a friends computer and i can get no internet connection. which would be an easy fix lol except he bought some cheap knock off hp from online and it only says hp compaq no model numbers nothing i have the driver details just can not find the right solution

The number indicates you have a Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet NIC card with a 5782 chipset. Is this a desktop computer or a notebook? Can you also confirm that this number is correct pci\ven_14e4&dev_1696&subsys_12bc103 EDIT: Your driver can be found here: http://broadcom.com/support/ethernet...me_desktop.php Select your OS The driver is a ZIP file Extract the driver to a folder and manually install it through the Device Manager.
