vista 64/ chipset driver won't update?

i gather that this is the chipset driver (intel 82801 pci bridge 244e , image below) and that when i try to update it with the latest driver (INF_allOS_9.1.1.1020_PV.exe) nothing happens... the .exe tells me that it has finished installing, but it shows up as if nothing has changed on my system.

please help.

We do not recommend a third party driver update program.
If you need updated drivers please post the specs of your computer.

I have the latest drivers from Gigabyte installed ty for those, and I tried visiting the page you linked and it told me the file has been either removed or archived. Not sure where to find that at the download section it re-linked me to.

Hey BCCOMP! That zip worked perfectly but I got a message in the image below and I canceled the installation for obvious reasons.. when I ran the file I mentioned before from the intel site (the .exe) it said it installed it but it didn't show up as a new driver, what do you make of that?

The driver date shows a newer date than what you originally posted, but the version is the same.

sohte Registered User Join Date: Oct 2009 Posts: 36 OS: windows vista 64	vista 64/ chipset driver won't update? i gather that this is the chipset driver (intel 82801 pci bridge 244e , image below) and that when i try to update it with the latest driver (INF_allOS_9.1.1.1020_PV.exe) nothing happens... the .exe tells me that it has finished installing, but it shows up as if nothing has changed on my system. please help.

I have the latest drivers from Gigabyte installed ty for those, and I tried visiting the page you linked and it told me the file has been either removed or archived. Not sure where to find that at the download section it re-linked me to.

That zip worked perfectly but I got a message in the image below and I canceled the installation for obvious reasons.. when I ran the file I mentioned before from the intel site (the .exe) it said it installed it but it didn't show up as a new driver, what do you make of that?
